Pulsera de cuerda

El otro día me encontré en uno de los blogs que suelo ver unas pulseras la mar de chulas, pero como siempre, costaban una pasta, que yo no tengo. Así que me pasé por la tienda para comprar los materiales y hacerlas yo :) Aquí tenéis una foto del resultado, y ahora os explico cómo las he hecho.

The other day I saw on the internet some bracelets I reaaally wanted, but, as usual, they were really expensive. So I went to my supply store and bought the materials to make it. Or at least to make something similar. Here you can see the result, and then I'll explain you how I did it.

Ésta es la lista de los materiales que he usado:

- Cuerda de mercería. El grosor a vuestro gusto, yo quería pulseras grandes y vistosas así que elegí en consonancia :)

- Aguja e hilo

- Cuerda fina. La que compré yo es de seda, para que la pulsera tenga brillo

- Cierre grande para la pulsera

- Anilla pequeña del diámetro de un poco más de la cuerda

- Anilla grande para usarla en el cierre de la pulsera

 

This is the list of the materials I have used:

- Rope. Any size or kind of rope, up to you. I wanted a big bracelet so I use big ropes.

- Needle and thread

- Thin rope. I bought silk rope so the bracelet is bright

- Big metal shutter

- Small ring, it should be the size of the rope

- Big ring, to use it with the shutter

Lo primero que hacemos es escoger los colores que queremos para nuestra pulsera de entre los que tengamos disponibles.

 

First we chose the colors that we are going to use.

Cortamos la cuerda del tamaño de nuestra muñeca x2. Para evitar que se deshaga pongo celo en las puntas. Pongo el cierre en la anilla pequeña y la introduzco en la cuerda. La anilla grande también se mete en la cuerda.

We cut the rope with the size of our wirst x2. In order to avoid it to be spoiled we use cello tape in the ends. We have to put inside the rope the rings one with the shutter attached.

Cerramos los dos extremos de la pulsera con celo (o como más os rabia os de) y queda como veis a continuación.

We close both ends of the bracelet with cello tape as you can see in the following picture.

Una vez que la pulsera está cerrada pasamos a la parte de las cuerdas de colores. Estas cuerdas hay que enrollarlas alrededor de la cuerda grande, y para ello lo más fácil es unir todos los colores con hilo a la cuerda grande tal y como se ve en las imágenes siguientes.

Once the bracelet is closed, we need to start with the colored thin ropes. We need to roll the thin rope around the big rope. The easiest way is first use needle and thread to sew it to the big rope as you can see in the two following pictures.

Una vez cosidas, empezamos a enrollar uno de los colores (verde) dejando el color que no se usa (morado) en la parte inferior para que no se vea ni deje formas raras en la pulsera.

Once sewed we start rolling one of the colors (green) and we leave the other color (purple) in the bottom, so that it won't be seen.

 Aquí podéis ver el color verde completado.

Here you can see the green color finished.

Luego cambiamos de color como se puede ver en la imagen inferior. Empezamos a enrollar el color morado dejando el anterior en la parte inferior.

We then change the color as you can see in the picture below. We start rolling the purple color leaving the other color in the bottom.

Así queda el color morado.

This is how the purple color looks like.

Y después, de nuevo usamos el color verde inicial para hacerlo simétrico.

And then we use again the green color so the bracelet is simetric.

Y para terminar, cosemos ambos colores a la cuerda grande. Yo creo que es la mejor forma de cerrar la pulsera y que las cuerdas no se muevan.

And in order to finish, we sew both colors (green and purple) to the big rope. I think this is the best way to keep the colors together.

Y así es como queda la pulsera cosida.

And here is how the bracelet looks like once sewed.

Y aquí tenéis la pulsera terminada. Y algunas otras que me animé a hacer. En la primera tardé más, pero el resto salieron como churros.

And here you have the bracelet finished. And you can see more of them. The first one was the hardest but the rest were really fast.
